Demon Slayer Season 2:

The fan following of the Japanese manga series has been rising lately at an increasing rate. One of them is “Demon Slayer”. The writer of this manga series is Koyoharu Gotōge who is also the illustrator of the series. This manga has a genre of dark fantasy, martial arts, and adventure too.

The plot begins with a boy, who is very smart, warm-hearted, and simple. The character’s name is Tanjiro Kamado. He lives in the mountain and hilly areas. The first season of the series has a total of 21 listed volumes. Demon Slayer is an anime which was originally run-in between April 6, 2019 – September 19, 2019. 

According to the sources, the second season of the series is planned to release in the month of October 2020. But due to ongoing global tension about the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the release will be delayed. The second season might get a release in the upcoming year 2021.

This series was rated as the best selling in the month of February. It became a blockbuster after the first season was released. Around 60 million copies were sold out. Season 2 will exactly start from where the first season ended on a silver lining note.

In the first season, Tanjiro was seen full of rage. The sole reason behind this rage was the demons who slaughtered his family members. After the demise of Tanjiro’s father, he became the income source of his family. He kept on selling charcoals in the nearby areas to fulfill his basic necessities of life. One day, when he returns back to his family from selling, he sees dead bodies of his family members lying around. His sister Nezuko is the only person who was breathing. Both the brother and sister somehow survived the demon’s attack, who made his home a bloodbath.

After the incident took place, Nezuko was seen under the demon’s possession. Although the signs were normal, unlike the demon. After consulting Giyū Tomioka, a demon hunter, Tanjiro gets lessons from Giyū, who is now his mentor. He then becomes a demon slayer too with rage to defeat that demon and rescue his sister from that demon’s control. In season 2, fans will know more about Tanjiro’s power and how he defeated the monster. Fans need not worry about season 2 as it will be an exciting one too.
