Thursday

Come to the La Jolla Music Festival for three days of modern music. Here you will find chamber concerts and open rehearsals with some amazing artists!

The fees range from $25-$60 but it’s worth every penny when they have a rarity like an appearance by Messiaen or bowing performance by inward-looking Japanese classical musicians who rarely publicize their work outside Japan because “they prefer only close friends around.”

You’ve heard their hits, now see The Simon & Garfunkel Story come to life with this concert-style production. With over 50 countries around the world having seen it live already and more still waiting in line for tickets you can bet your bottom dollar there will be no shortage of singing when they take the stage at Balboa Theatre on October 9th!

Friday

The festival will be held at beautiful locations throughout town including in Community Park where you can make new friends while sipping tasty hot cocoa by singing carols around holiday tunes from Bing Crosby—no musical talent required (just try not to giggle).

Saturday
