The Beastars is produced by Studio Orange animation company. The Studio Orange company has truly outdone itself and all other anime production companies with its CG anime Beastars – mimicking 2D anime in a 3D style and effects. The Beastars is arguably the perfect 2D/3D anime so far. The show is directed by Shinichi Matsumi and scripted by Nanami Higuchi.
The opening song for the first season was “Wild Side” and the season had 12 episodes. This first season of Beastars was released in the fall of 2019, in the form of four Blu-rays or DVD volumes. The second season was aired in Japan in January of this year, 2021. But the total number of episodes for this season has not been confirmed yet. But we are assuming a total of 12 episodes for the second season of Beastars as well.

Beastars Season 2 will be aired on Netflix once all the second season episodes are broadcasted already on Japanese television. Netflix uploads series and shows for binge-watching. Thus we will have to wait for the anime show to get over within Japan, only then can it be aired by Netflix on their streaming service for us to watch.

The plotline of Beastars:
The plot of Beastars revolves around a civilized society with the tension between the herbivores and carnivores and this tension peaks up after a predation incident results in the death of Tem, an alpaca in the school’s drama club in Cherryton Academy. Tem’s friend, Legos, a grey wolf in the stage crew who has been feared and held in the eyes of suspicion all his life decides to be on lookout duty. And that very night Legoshi has a fateful encounter with Haru, a white rabbit. Slowly with time, Legoshi realizes his feelings for Haru, complicated by his predatory instincts making him confront his own true nature.

Beastars Season 3 Premiere Date:
As of now, nothing can be said about the release of Beastars Season 3. Studio Orange so far has not yet confirmed if there will be a Beastars Season 3. No release date and no confirmation regarding the production of the Beastars Season 3 has been officially declared. All we can do for now is hope that very soon we get a confirmation that the production of Beastars Season 3 is in process. That is the least we can look out for now.

Netflix can even take up the anime series as a Netflix Exclusive for the future. And if Netflix does so, news of Beastars Season 3 will come to us now. But again, this is just a possibility since Studio Orange has made no announcements. We all know it does not take long for Netflix to come up with a new season, be it for any series. In comparison to that, some anime shows take a long time. The Japanese animation industry often makes us wait for an awfully long period of time for the sequel of an anime to come. Also if Netflix does take up the Beastars Season 3 for a Netflix original series, it will definitely not be the first time they would be doing this. There have been several anime shows that have been adopted by Netflix in the past, like say, “The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K” for example. And Netflix does help the anime shows to reach out to a wider group of audience and serve for a bigger fanbase. Thus financially speaking too, it would definitely not be a loss.
Based on the past and making the assumption that Studio Orange animation company may have already started with the making process of Beastars Season 3, we would say it will not be long enough before Beastars Season 3 is released, or at least news of its release or production is announced officially. Going by the speed of production of the show in the past, Beastars Season 3 by Studio Orange will be released by the end of 2022 in Japan, which is the end of the following year. And as we discussed earlier, an anime show is aired on Netflix for viewing only when the broadcasting of the whole season is completed on Japanese television. Therefore if you are waiting for forecasters Season 3 to air on Netflix US, you might have to wait a while longer. Beastars Season 3 will hopefully come to Netflix by the fall of 2023, assuming that its airs in Japan by the end of the following year, 2022.
As for now, we are waiting eagerly for the second season of Beastars to air on Netflix US and then on Netflix in other places. The second season is definite;y going to be quite amusing for those who loved Beastars Season 1. And we are pretty certain a third season of the show, Beastars Season 3 will definitely be made given the popularity of the show. The only question, for now, is when as we cannot wait to see what happens to Legoshi and Haru at the end.
