When will black lightning season 4 air?- What can fans expect?- Details in the article?

Black Lightning is am American superhero drama series based on the DC Comic book character on the same name. Created by Tony Isabella and Trevor von the series consists of 3 seasons and follows the plot of a retired black lightning return to his life as a superhero and how it affects its personal and professional life.

As for now, the series completed three seasons and fans are eagerly waiting for the new season. The season 3 finale of black lightning teased the fans for a bold new direction of the new season. We can expect many new plots and surprises in season 4.


season 4 of this series is confirmed in late January 2020. season 3 aired from 7th October 2019 to 9th March 2020. the show is renewed along with all the superhero series based on DC comics on the CW network. while not almost all series end up in Arrowverse, black lightning is a solid performer and more popular than now that it is set on earth prime.

We can expect season four to come in January 2021. although the official date is not yet announced we can expect the production to start from October once the pandemic situation is under control.

Except for Damon Gupton, all the cast members in the first three seasons are expected to return on season 4. the main cast includes Cress William as Jefferson Pierce ( Black Lightning), China Anne McClain  (Jennifer Pierce for Lightning), Nafessa Williams as Anissa Pierce (Thunder/ Blackbird), Christine Adams for Lynn Stewart, James Remar for Peter Gambi, Marvin “Krondon” Jones III as Tobias Whale, and many others.

Although it’s not clear why Damon Gupton is not returning, the actor tweeted on his twitter account,
