Den Of Thieves, is a perfect blend of crime and action, starring Gerard Butler. It may not have been a huge critical smash, but it’s done decent business at the box office, earning around $60m worldwide off a $30m budget.

Director Christian Gudegast has been an Angel to the fans of the movie filling them with hopes of the sequel while they wait anxiously. In an interview with Screen Rant, Gudegast revealed that The hard work is done and the plot is all structured and outlined. The makers have a whole story. All they have to do now is put down the story into the papers.
In 2019, we received the information that Den of Thieves 2 was officially titled Den of Thieves 2: Pantera. Since then, a deadly silence looms over the possible release date for Den of Thieves 2; however, there have been rumors that the production of the film commenced in 2019, but seeing the delays in productions caused by the global pandemic we can expect the film to release sometime in summer 2021, or even later.

Gudegast confessed that he has researched a lot in order to make the sequel as authentic as the first one or even better. He further revealed some information regarding the plot.
Based on what Gudegast initially told Screen Rant, Den of Thieves 2 will take place all over Europe, in London, Belgium, Marseilles, the Cote d’Azur, and Montenegro.
The central storyline will revolve around the chase between Big Nick and Donnie, who will be associated with the Pink Panther Mafia, an international network of jewel thieves.
He added that “it’ll be hopefully very surprising” leading the viewers to assume that there will be some fair twists, in the sequel.
