Kyler Murray is a successful American Footballer for the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL. He made his parents proud by excelling not only in the field of Football but also as a Baseball player. It is not surprising as he got his sportive genes from his multi-sport star father, Kevin Murray.
Kyler Murray has played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies just like his father and Oklahoma Sooners. Professionally, he announced that he would enter the 2019 NFL Draft in January, and in February, he cleared his long-going confusion between baseball and football and chose to focus on football as a career.

Born on June 18, 1964, Kevin Murray is the father of Kyler Murray and a former American football quarterback at Texas A&M University. He was an All-State quarterback at North Dallas High School and was named Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex Offensive Player of the Year his senior season. He was also a center fielder for the North Dallas baseball team.
He was selected in the 1982 MLB draft in the 11th round. Although he had a knack for both baseball and football, it was a tough decision to make. He began his journey with baseball.
However, his baseball career didn’t work. He played for Pikeville Brewers and hit just .161 in 41 games. He was also involved in a controversy where he was sued by the Brewers for not repaying his signing bonus. He defended himself saying that any kind of money that is given to him is not supposed to be given back. So Brewers filed a lawsuit against him in 1983.
After that, he switched to football and was an exceptional quarterback at Texas A&M. He threw for 6,506 yards and 48 touchdowns during his four seasons with the Aggies. His performance at the 1986 Baylor game at Kyle Field was one of his best performances in which he rallied the AggieAggies from a 17-0 deficit to a 31-30 victory, completing 25-of-40 passes for 308 yards and three touchdowns and rushing for another. The game was voted the decade’s best by Texas Football magazine. He has also been named a 2nd team All-American.
In fact, Kevin was declared as a junior for the NFL draft back when it was uncommon. But unfortunately, Kevin suffered from a serious ankle injury in 1984 which henceforth lingered his career as a footballer. Murray had two short professional stints, signing as a free agent with the San Francisco 49ers and the Calgary Stampeders, but eventually retired owing to his persistent ankle pain.
Kevin kept his love of the game alive by establishing a football training business specializing in quarterbacks. He is said to be a strict instructor on the field with his clients and even Kyler for that matter.
Kevin has always worked behind the scenes and has expressed no intentions of sharing the spotlight with his son Kyler. Moreover, Kevin has been the main inspiration for Kyler’s interest in the game of football. His business helped in a way to realize his talents when Kyler was young.

WHO IS MISSY MURRAY?
Miss Murray is the beautiful mother of Kyler Murray. She is a proud Korean who never shied away from passing on her Asian heritage to her son. She was born Misun Henderson on September 25, 1964. She is the daughter of A US Navy officer Msgt. Carl W. Henderson, Sr. and has a brother named Carl. She completed her education from South Grand Prairie High School in 1982 and later with a degree of associates in science business from Mountain View College.
Then in the ’90s, Missy worked as an executive assistant for Skyway Freight Systems. Then she further worked as an administrative manager for Burnham Logistics and executive assistant at Inmac Computer Supplies. This is not all. She has quite a big resume to show.
Further, Missy Murray joined Key Transportations, Services for a while, before becoming the Direct Support to Vice President of Strategy at Verizon. Currently, she is working for K1 Promotions as the general manager.
Missy Murray got married to Kevin Murray on August 17, 1991, in Texas and they are happily married for 30 years now. Apart from being the most supportive mother for Kyler throughout his career, Missy is also a wonderful stepmother to Kevin’s children from previous relationships, a son called Kevin Murray Jr. and a daughter named Precious.
According to reports, in 2000 Missy was arrested for theft by check in Denton county.
