After a “couple of rough months,” the producer of The Ellen DeGeneres Show finally speaking out. Andy Lassner is finally speaking out about the controversy surrounding the daytime talk show. The recent news that three producers would be departing the show shocked everyone. But on Sunday Andy assured his followers on the Instagram that he is back. Andy captioned the video that “I’ve missed my people” as he was back on the social media platform after a month.

Andy started his video clip by speaking directly into the camera that “Oh look who it is. If it isn’t Andy Lassner, Well, yes it is. Your eyes do not deceive you. I’m back. I’ve been away for a little bit, dealing with, some stuff. You may have read about it.” He continued the clip saying “It’s been a couple of rough months. But it’s when we go through these things, I guess when we learn the most about ourselves, and maybe even some growth. But to tell you it hasn’t been rough would be a lie, and I’ve always been honest with you. It’s been rough. But I’m back.” Finally, Andy ended his clip by saying “I love you guys, I miss you and I’ll talk to you soon.”

Well, Lassner hinted at the public controversy about the show on the 30th of July. Andy stated that ” Me: I really think 2020 is gonna turn around and start getting better. 2020: Lol, I’m gonna make your bed the epicenter.” As a result, earlier this month Ed Glavin, Kevin Leman, and Jonathan Norman, the top producers parted their ways with the show. The host of the show Ellen DeGeneres told the staff in an emotional video conference that she “wasn’t perfect”.
