The series is named after the first book in the trilogy and the story goes like this…… Diana Bishop is a witch and a historian in a university she somehow finds a magical book that contains a lot of secrets ready to be solved. Matthew Clairmont is a vampire and a geneticist who offers to help her and both start a journey to complete the quest.

The shooting of season 2 is already done but the delay in releasing is due to the editing and stuff i.e post-production, most probably the season will be aired end of this year or early next year. The second season will be from the second book of trilogy Shadow of the Night and the focus will be on Diana and Matthew exploring Elizabethan London where they find a witch to train Diana. Matthew’s past comes in the way and they end up taking a different route.
