Horizon Zero Dawn is a game played from a third-person view. Players take control of Aloy, a hunter who travels through a post-apocalyptic land ruled by robotic creatures. Aloy can kill enemies in a variety of ways. Also, She can set traps such as tripwires using the trip caster, shooting them with arrows, using explosives, and a spear.

She also fights in the war with human enemies. She wears a focus, a small headpiece that scans machines to determine their susceptibilities, and she can dodge, sprint, slide, or roll to avoid her enemies’ attack. Also, she can hack a selection of machines with the override tool, some of which can be turned into makeshift mounts.

It has been announced that ‘Horizon Zero Dawn-2’ will be released as ‘Horizon Forbidden West’ in 2021. It will be exclusively on PlayStation 5. Until now, there is no official announcement of the releasing date. It is expected to be at the end of 2021 due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
