Thomas Shelby is the crafty leader of a criminal gang called the Peaky Blinders in Birmingham, England. The series revolves around the gang going against the communists, Members of the IRA (Irish Republican Army) and other gangs with the sole motive of being the greatest of all in monetary and non-monetary aspects.
The show has acclaimed ratings, which would leave a newcomer wanting to join it eagerly.

We all are desperately waiting to unravel the mystery left by the season 5 finale. So when can we do it?
After two weeks of starting the shoot for the latest season, the director, Anthony Byrne confirmed that the shoot has to be closed down due to the unfortunate event of the lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Bummer. Not only this, the director also said in an interview that they will not be able to shoot the show anytime soon. He continued that the show might be shot towards the new years that is, either towards the end of 2020 or the start of 2021.
Not only this, but it might also sadden the fans that the wait might be much longer than that. This is because the director informed that even if they finished shooting by May/June 2020, the editing process may take another 6 months.
To sum it up, there has been no specific date as to when season 6 may release, but, it is expected to be somewhere around early 2022. We can wait that long, right?

It is reported that this character has not been cast yet but has a very distinct personality which will surely turn the show around.

The first scene itself will be of Tommy walking amidst the uncertain. Not only this, the writers have hinted that this season will have the most uncertain outcome which definitely has made the wait harder.

This lockdown has certainly given time to the writers to improve their script and hence we expect Season 6 to be nothing less than a masterpiece
