The American superhero film, Venom, is based on Venom, a Marvel Comics character. Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios produce the movie. The sequel of the movie, Venom 2, will be the second film in Sony’s Marvel Universe. Sony Pictures releasing is the official distributor of the film.
The Director of Venom, Andy Serkis, has officially confirmed the release of Venom 2. According to him, this sequel is going to prove to be an extraordinary piece of cinema in the history of cinema. Unfortunately, when asked about the plot of the upcoming movie, he did not give much insight into the movie’s plot.
While speaking to IGN, Serkis shared that he and his team have just begun with the initial stage. Adding to that, he said that even he has an unclear idea regarding the visuals and how he will be dealing with the portrayal of the characters. He wished to take the role into a completely different dimension.
Release Date
The makers have yet made any announcement of the release date of the sequel. However, believing in rumors, the filming of Venom 2 had already begun from November 18, 2020, in Watford, England, at Warner Bros. Studios. It is therefore anticipated that the premiere of the movie might take place in late 2020.
Plot And Cast
The upcoming sequel is expected to have the same cast as of Venom. However, Venom 2 will see the entry of some new characters as well. The plot of the movie will be much interesting and thrilling to watch on screen. As reported by CinemaBlend, the producer of the Venom movies, Matt Tolmach says that he will be focusing mainly on Eddie and Venom’s connections. According to him, this connection between the two characters is the heart of the movie.
