Entertainment Weekly reported that Netflix’s spokesperson stated- “Fincher may reevaluate Mindhunter furthermore in the future, but in the meantime, he felt it wasn’t fair to the actors to hold them from pursuing other work while he was exploring new work of his own.” So the actors are out of contract till David gets time to get back.
