The company has announced the new “Black Unity” braided solo loop for their smartwatches, which continues in tradition from last year’s release of an all-black version to honor unity among race groups throughout America.”
The Apple Watch Black Unity Braided Solo Loop is a product of the vibrant black community at Apple, who have come together to create their design with pride and purpose.
The product is created by weaving together 16,000 recycled yarn and silicone threads using precision-braiding machinery. The Solo Loop also has a laser-etched Black Unity message on the lugs with colors from Pan African flag woven into strap which appears like speckled light across the black band.”

The Unity Lights watch face is customizable to be a full screen or circular dial and includes black & white options as well. You can also customize it with tick marks for timing your workouts in exquisite detail; if that’s not enough there are monograms available too!
The campaign to promote Black history month has been going strong. The company’s latest move is a series of wallpapers inspired by the Afrofuturist movement which are now available for purchase on apple.’s website in both 41mm or 45 mm case sizes at just $99 each!
