Jess King is an experienced fitness instructor, life coach, and social media influencer. She started dating musician Brass Against’s singer Sophia Urista in 2015 who has been receiving negative press after peeing on a man’s face at their November 11 concert last night (11/12) in Daytona Beach Florida.”
Who is Jess King?
After leaving her dancing career behind, Jess King found new success in the fitness world. She was previously known for competing on So You Think You Can Dance where she made it to the top 10 but had an injury that forced her out of competition. Nowadays you can find this spicy-haired beauty leading instructor training at Peloton studios or hosting your next workout class!
Jess King was previously known for her former dancing career on the TV show So You Think You Can Dance in 2008. She made it to the top 10 but after being injured had to exit stage left and go back home, where she began Peloton Fitness – a company dedicated to helping people live their healthiest lives through cycling fitness!
King’s charisma made her a top instructor even though she had never ridden a spin bike before. She worked with Peloton Founder John Foley to make him famous, which they did in 2017 when it was featured by The New York Times
King said “He looked right at me and said ‘We’re going to make you celebrities.'”
“And I said, ‘Yeah, sign me up.’ That was the sole motivating reason to do it.”
When Foley’s promise came true, she was able to achieve her dream of having over 130k followers on Instagram.
Jess King and Sophia Urista meeting?
King was drawn to Urista the minute she set eyes on her. She had never been with a woman before and imagined what it would be like once they finally connected, but for now all that mattered were those few precious moments shared between two people in love (and one very lucky dog).
“I just felt overcome and overwhelmed by this pull and draw towards her,” King told POPSUGAR.
“And I walked up to her and said something ridiculous. Something like, ‘Hey, do you want to hook up?'”
In 2020, Urista popped the question to King at her music video premiere. The singer said she responded with a resounding “Yes!”
The two started dating shortly after and in 2020, Urista popped the question to King at an event for her music video. She said that’s was when she knew he would always be there – “Yes! Thousand times yes!”
What did partner Sophia Urista do at her concert?
King’s silence has been deafening, but her fans won’t be abashed. The band issued an apology for the incident at Urista’s concert in Daytona when she peed on a man’s face and he got covered with urine!
King hasn’t answered to these charges yet; we’ll see if justice finds its way soon enough or not…
“We had a great time last night at Welcome to Rockville. Sophia got carried away, the band said on their Brass Against Twitter account.
“That’s not something the rest of us expected, and it’s not something you’ll see again at our shows. Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona.”
Urista, the most recent target of online harassment for her onstage peeing episode has not responded to King’s comment on Instagram. The only thing more interesting than Urista’s story is what this might mean about their beef with each other!
“Remember, life is just a series of peaks and valleys. We chase the highs and avoid the lows, but most of the time we are just somewhere in between,” King said.
“What I’ve come to understand is that life isn’t about chasing the highs or fighting the lows, but getting good at learning how to ride the roll.
“I see you. I feel you. I’m rooting for you. Keep going.”
