Seika High School was an all-boys high school. The school was famous because of its rowdy students and its lack of discipline. The school later turned into a co-educational school. Misaki was like a role model to all the girls, because of her ideology of making the school a better place for all the girls. The boys on the other side are totally busy attracting other girls toward them. Whereas Mikasa was trying her best to make the place a better place for girls.
Mikasa unfortunately has a tough life out of school. She has kept the secret from everyone, that she works in a maid cafe called Maid Latte. She has to work outside to deal with her and her family’s expenses. She also has a sick mother of whom she had to take care. She keeps this entire thing a secret because she fears that maybe if everyone else in school finds this out, they may not respect her and would never look up to her. A popular boy of her school named Usui Takumi, unfortunately, had seen Mikasa in her maid uniform. She on that point fears that her secret will be out and everybody will know about it and besides that, no one will respect her. Takumi on the other side didn’t tell about her, he instead used that as an excuse to come closer to her. The story ends here only without a conclusion of their relationship, this also the reason fans are so pissed.
