House of the Dragon Season 1: Release date
There has been no official statement regarding the release of the 1st season. We expect that House of the Dragon will hit the screens somewhere around 2022.

The script of the show has not been prepared yet, let alone the production. That is the reason that we might have to wait for a year or two to be a part of this fantasy land of dragons.

Like mentioned above, the script is yet in process. This means that the show has not gone into production as of now.
Even if the show was to start the production, it would not have been possible as the global pandemic due to the Corona Virus has stopped the world. Hence, it would be difficult to know who is going to be a part of this show as nothing has been disclosed in that context.

The director of House of the Dragon is going to be Miguel Sapochnik. The news is out that the first season of the show will have a total of 10 episodes. The script for the same will be written by Ryan Condal.
Since the show is still in pre-production, we don’t know much about the plot of the movie. What we do know is that the show will be based on the best selling book titled ‘Fire and Blood’ which was written by George R.R. Martin in 2018.
Lastly, we know that the show will be based on a timeline 300 years before the event of Game of Thrones took place.
It is exciting to know that another spin off after this one has already been planned. The next spinoff will be based on another novel written by George R.R. Martin, called ‘Ice and Fire’
