Castle star Stana Katic returns as troubled FBI agent Emily Byrne in a new season of Absentia.

Oded Ruskin directed this American thriller drama television series. The first premiere was on September 25, 2017, on AXN. On June 19, 2018, the series was renewed for a second season. It premiered on March 26, 2019, on AXN and on June 14, 2019, in the US.
The story revolves around Emily Byrne, an FBI agent. One day she mysteriously disappears while hunting a serial killer and is declared dead. Six years later, she is found in a cabin in the woods, with no memory of her past. She also discovers that her husband has now moved on and remarried, while her young son barely remembers her. She also finds herself implicated in a new series of murders.

When is Absentia season 3 coming on TV?
The third season had dropped on Amazon Prime Video on 17th July 2020. Just like its last two predecessors, this season is expected to stream over 10 episodes.

The new season of Absentia picks up with Emily Byrne (Stana Katic), who is serving out her final days from her FBI suspension and working on becoming a better parent to her son, Flynn.
However, when an international criminal case threatens her near and dear ones, Emily and her ex-husband, Special Agent Nick Durand (Patrick Heusinger) can’t help but get involved in the case. Thus, putting Nick’s life in danger, and forcing Emily to step up and try to save him before it’s too late.
