His whole family depends on him and he makes his living by selling charcoal in his neighbourhood. One day he returns after doing his work and gets hit by the fact that he is alone now. Because the Demons have killed his whole family except his sister.
After he finds out that his sister has become a demon and Tanjiro is ready to require revenge to assist his sister to become normal.
