She is American by her nationality, and she is following Christianity, and her ethnicity is Armenian-Americans. She grew up in a conservative Christian family, where her parents were almost against her career choice as a YouTuber and an influencer.

Lena studied in a small University town in the South of Sweden, which was just a short train ride from Copenhagen, Denmark. She admitted that her time in Sweden was fruitful. The people, the laws, the culture, and the country itself is beautiful. As per her, the Swedes are nice but quite hard to approach. During her time there she also worked with autistic children.
Lena Nersesian has had her fair share of jobs. She was an Uber driver, a nanny, and even a grocery store clerk at one point. Lena earned her name of Lena The Plug while she worked at a social media start-up, which she had quit shortly. Lena started working as a Snapchat model after she quit her work at Arsenic. She had grown tired of the meager pay that it all the other normal jobs offered. Accordingly, the decision of working as a model did not go down well with her Christian family.

Lena the Plug started her YouTube channel back in the year 2016, little did she knew that the channel would have these many subscribers. She started with a fair amount of followers, but what made her this famous, being a B-graded influencer. Well her YouTube mainly focuses on fitness videos, vlogs, Q and A’s, and fan interactions, but there are thousands of creators out there who dwell themselves with the same content. What made Lena Nersesian so famous?
It is said that Nersesian once stirred up a controversy where she let her best friend had sex with her boyfriend, she admitted she was completely fine with it, but this did not go down well with her fans. Nersesian said she would upload a sex tape of her new boyfriend and the father of her child, Adam Grandmaison, and her best friend Emily Jay. And all of this was uploaded on her channel.
This wasn’t the first time Nersesian was in controversy, but this one took a toll because her friend was involved. Even though the concept of having a threesome, including her best friend and boyfriend, just because her pal knew all about her sexual life, made some of her fans uneasy, the following numbers on her account had a spike.
