The 80-year-old man Trebek had been suffering a persistent stomach ache but didn’t consider it seriously. Then later Alex announced that he had been diagnosed with Stage Four Pancreatic Cancer. But still, he decided to fight the disease and continue hosting. He had undergone several rounds of chemotherapy which caused so many side effects on his body. Alex found difficulty in speaking because of sores in his mouth caused by side effects. Then on 16th July 2020, Alex updated his fans that he feels fatigued after chemo.

Trebek updated that his body is responding great to the treatments. And his test results are also promising. Alex Trebek is accepting the trial immuno-therapy treatment against pancreatic cancer. Trebek also talked about his days that were so troubling and painful but her wife Jean is a holy person as she helped him.
