The Haunting of Hill House Season 2 have new news for fans? Know what Netflix announced about this new season!

After the success of the famous show The Haunting of Hill House, it has been confirmed that there will be a
second season to it and is officially announced to be called “The Haunting of Bly Manor” and
will be directed by Mike Flanagan. Both critics and the
audience very well acclaimed season 1. The spooks and the eerie factor were well topped up with the exciting, dark, and sinister Plot. And the expectations are really high from the second season but much
expected that The Haunting of Bly Manor will not have any reference or rather it won’t be a
continuation from The Haunting of Hill House. Though it will be based on a Henry James
1898 horror piece called The Turn of the Screw.

The Plot is well under construction.

As per the Henry James short novel is concerned, there are a few additional characters and
sub-plots being added so that it gives a proper Netflix binge-worthy feel to it. Although the
basic concept is all about a remote London country house which will have two kids being
guarded by a governess who is hired by an unknown man to take care of those two
orphaned kids and later the trio is haunted by some sinister presence around the very house
they live. So, it is well clear and said that all the happenings and the Plot have nothing to do
with the previous season and the characters.

Casting is supposed to be on point.

The casting was astonishingly excellent the previous season, and the expectations are just so high
with the upcoming installment. The Haunting of Hill House gave us exposure to some
eye-catching actors who never actually had more significant platforms before this but
eventually were fan favorites by the end of it. One of the two actors who are said to be
returning from the previous season is Victoria Pedretti, who we recently saw excelling as
Love in You Season 2, and the other one is Jackson Oliver-Cohen, who played Luke earlier in
season one. It has been confirmed that Henry Thomas and Kate Siegel are also coming back
from the previous season, but none of them will be reprising their previous portrayal. In
addition to the cast, the fresh faces who will join the talented camaraderie are Rahul Kohli
(iZombie) and T’Nia Miller (Years and Years).

When is it coming?

Netflix did not announce any official release date but the director Mike Flanagan is hoping
for a wrap on The Haunting of Bly Manor by Halloween 2020
