About the series –
Berserk is a dark anime tv series based on a series of the same name. It was illustrated as well as written by one and only Kentarou Miura. The manga was initially released on April 25, 1989, and has been in continuing after that. In the year 1997, this manga series was changed into an anime series. More than a decade later, between 2012 and 2013, the Gold Age story from fiction was transformed into a trilogy of anime films.
The first episode, named Berserk: Ougon Jidai-hen I – Haou and Tamago, was released on February 4, 2012, and after that, Berserk: Ougon Jidai-hen II – Doldrey Kouryaku was released, and finally, Berserk: Ougon Jidai-hen III – Kourin on June 23, 2012, and then on February 1, 2013.
A few years later, it was announced that a new anime television series would be made, featuring events after the Gold Age story, and Berserk’s Season 1 premiered on July 1, 2016. and revived Season 2, which premiered on April 7, 2017. Since then, fans of the show have been waiting to hear the news for the third season, here’s all we know Season 3 so far.
Berserk – Plot
Berserk is set in a fictitious place called the Kingdom of Midland and follows the exploitation of a soldier named Guts who roams the earth seeking war. A man of war, Guts wields a sword greater than his, and though there is a good chance he will not win, he can defeat any opponent.
One day, Guts’ fighting power caught the eye of Griffith, a mysterious leader of a militia group known as the Band of the Hawk. Impressed by Guts, Griffith offers Guts a chance to join the team, but Guts refuses and instead challenges Griffith. Without fear, Griffith accepts the challenge and eventually defeats Guts, forcing him to join the team.
Now, as part of the Band of the Hawk, Guts must join Griffith and other soldiers in resolving the war against the Chuder State, but without knowing anyone else, Griffith seems to have his own agenda.
When the Band of the Hawk finally completes the mission, Guts decides to leave to pursue his dreams, despite Griffith’s efforts to get him to stay. When Guts joins the group years ago, he discovers that his power has diminished and that the group is being hunted across the Midland by Griffith, who has been imprisoned since then.
When the soldiers finally managed to free Griffith from captivity using Guts’ help, they discovered that Griffith had completely changed while he was in prison. As Griffith has become a shadow of his own identity, the Band of the Hawk must fight to regain its reputation in the Midland. However, their struggle to regain their former glory ends in a tragic end.
Marked by death and followed by demons incessantly, Guts must struggle to try to change his future. This, however, proves to be very easy, but Guts gets help along the way in the form of impossible partners. As the show progresses, Midland becomes more and more confused as demons emerge and create mayhem across the country.
Meanwhile, years of constant struggle begin to show Guts, and his determination to change his destiny eventually leads to the end of the quest for a mysterious world called Elfhelm, where the demons are unable to tread.
Berserk anime season 3 – Release date
Berserk anime season 3 – release date? Berserk anime season 2 began airing on April 7, 2017 and continued until June 23, 2017. The season ended with a note indicating that it could be the third season, and no wonder fans were eagerly awaiting the news from Berserk anime season 3 of the show.
However, as it stands, Season 3 has not yet been confirmed, and it remains to be seen whether another season will be held at all. That being said, there is no reason to panic yet – anime shows are sometimes revamped after a few years, so, there is still plenty of time left to announce.
Our best guess is that the Berserk anime season 3 release could fall sometime in 2021. We keep our ears open for news about Berserk anime season 3 and will update this section as soon as we hear more.

Berserk anime season 3 – Expected characters
For three movies and two seasons of the show, Berserk has had a lot of characters. However, in the show, there are only four main characters, and below, we have given you a brief background on them which might occur in Berserk anime season 3.
Guts: The main character of the game, Guts is a tall, muscular man with a large sword called a Dragonslayer. He has an artificial left arm that hides a small cannon. Having a modest age, Guts is an imprisoned man who prefers conflict over peace and always seeks war. Despite battling destiny and difficulty, Guts has never been able to turn things around on a grand scale, making him a bitter hero.
Casca: The only female soldier in the first Hawks band, Casca joined the group after Griffith rescued her from sexual harassment. Guts’ best friend, Casca is very good at swordplay and his directing skills are none other than Guts and Griffith. Moody and irrational, Casca has a mysterious relationship with both Guts and Griffith but is always there in times of need.
Isidro: A runaway thief, Isidro is still young and Guts has become a friend in the game. With dreams of becoming a great sword champion one day, Isidro members Guts in his quest to change his future, hoping to learn from Guts. However, he soon realizes that he is not strong enough, but he closes his mistakes by using his small size and speed to his advantage. As a young activist, Isidro also acts as a comedy resort at the show.
Puck: Another member of Guts ragtag group, Puck is a ghost from the mysterious world of Elfhelm. While Puck does not boast of great strength in battle, he can extract the powder from his wings to heal the wounded, and he can confuse the enemies with the brilliant light. He serves as a comedy aid as well.
