The storyline of ‘Luther’
John Luther is a passionate detective who makes cases against criminals. But he ends up befriending a psychopath and murderer, though he is unable to arrest that person because of the lack of evidence against that person, the twist is that they both work together to solve lots of cases.

Season 6 of Luther has been canceled. Though in the first season there were a total of 6 episodes that were released in May and June 2010. The second season has four episodes and it aired on BBC One in June and July 2011. The third season has four episodes and aired in July 2013. The fourth season consists of two episodes and was released on December 2015 the fifth and the last season has four episodes and aired on 1st January 2019. So maybe if the director, by any chance release 6th season then it will have 2 to 5 episodes, probably more or less too.
