Oh my god! Where can we start on this one, arguably one of the greatest shows of all time? The fanbase of this show is considered to be the greatest to the length where Queen Elizabeth II is too considered a fan of the show. The show contains 8 seasons with the first 6 seasons containing 10 episodes each and the remaining two seasons containing 6 & 7 episodes each. 
Well, there must be a reason for this show to be called the greatest show of all time. And apparently, there is a reason, the show has the greatest characters, finest plots, amazing sets, and scenery, and a very realistic storyline.
The books on which the series is based were written by George RR Martin, George RR Martin wrote only 5 books of Game of Thrones, namely Game of Thrones, Clash of the Kings, Storm of Swords, Feast of Crow, and Dance with Dragons. George is likely to publish 2 more books completing the story which was left uncovered in the books’ timeline, but the series completed its story consulting George.
Characters are another strong point of the show, characters are defining the show, they are the ones interpreting the story, they are the ones connected to the audience and they are the ones telling the audience how deep the cuts are and how shallow the relations are. There are too many important characters in the show.
Ned Stark, Robert Baratheon, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow, Arya Stark, Petyr Baelish, Sansa Stark, Cersei Lannister, Bran Stark, Sir Jorah Mormont, Jaime Lannister, Samwell Tarly, Lord Varys, Theon Greyjoy, Davos Seaworth, Joffrey Baratheon, Catalyn Stark, Robb Stark, Euron Greyjoy, Ramsay Bolton, Khal Drogo, these are only names of half of the important characters in the show. We will now take a brief on some characters.
Robb Stark
The oldest son of the house Stark, who gets the responsibility of the North after the sudden execution of his father, Robb was also known as the Night Wolf, with the rumors that he turns into a wolf at night.
Ned Stark
The warden of the North at first, then Hand of the King, then Protector of the realm. The character of Ned was deep and taught us very much about the kingdom and the political situation of the state. Ned makes great sacrifices without knowing them, Ned is the hero of the show until he is not…
Robert Baratheon
The King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm of Westeros, and the head of House Baratheon of King’s Landing. The king was unlost on the battlefield but was tied to chains when it comes to political warfare.
Sersei Lannister
The wife of Robert and queen of the King’s Landing, she was the mastermind behind all the moves the King made in his span until she becomes the queen. Sersei was in love with her brother despite being the queen, we see her character develop from being the mean Sersei to a meaner Sersei. Her character shows care for her children, guilt, greed, and love at the same time she is getting meaner. Can you imagine a character so vast?
Jaime Lannister
The brother of Sersei and Tyrion. The Kingsguard, The Kingslayer, Jaime is the one who killed the Mad King. The character of Ser Jaime develops over the seasons. From the first season when he throws Bran from the tower saying,” Things we do for love!!” to saving his brother’s life several times and having great fights from time to time, Jaime’s been through a lot in this show. Yet he was one of the most anticipated characters of the show.
Petyr Baelish
The one who makes the moves in chess. Petyr Baelish was the treasurer of the King’s Landing. Petyr came from a very poor background climbing the ladder all by himself. The famous dialogues of Petyr Baelish include,” Chaos is the Ladder.” According to me, he has one of the most important characters in Game of Thrones. He is the one plotting the twists. And we know how much he loves Catelyn Stark…
