What is the 1883 season 2 release date?
Today we are looking at a series named 1883 streaming on Paramount Plus, this show is supposed to be a kind of prequel to the drama series Yellowstone. The Yellowstone is quite a popular series having 4 seasons carrying around 9-10 episodes each. Season 5 for Yellowstone will be coming out on November 13, 2022. 1883 is the story before the happenings of Yellowstone. Season 1 of 1883 also contains 10 episodes.
The Yellowstone storyline stars Kevin Costner and the story involves the Dutton family and the events in their lives. With season 1 of 1883 ending on a peek, causing the death of some of the main characters, fans are excited about the next season
The series is created by Taylor Sheridan, who also wrote Yellowstone and some other amazing screenplays Sicario and Wind River. Sheridan also starred as an actor in Sons of Monarchy.
Well, if we talk about the dates of release regarding season 2 of 1883, we can expect the announcement of the same from production in the first quarter of 2023, which is around 4-5 from now, as far as I trust my sources, we will get the news in January 2023. Here’s another mind-blowing thing for you, Paramount doesn’t want the fans to describe the next part of 1883 as season 2, they want the fans to describe it as the next “installment”. Also, paramount confirmed that the prequel for the remainder of the prequel of Yellowstone will be split into 2 parts namely 1883: The Bass Reeves Story and the other being called 1923. Season 1 of 1883 got aired in December 2021, we cannot expect any announcements regarding this year, so it is more than likely to consider the next part of 1883 in 2023.
Theories regarding the plot of the next season
In May 2022, it was revealed that season 2 of the show 
would focus on the story of Bass Reeves, who is a real character in history, being the first black deputy of the U. S. Marshals. The story is less likely to evolve around the Duttons, which are created fictionally. Bass Reeves, on the other hand, was the first Deputy of the U. S. Marshal who was able to speak several native American languages and was part of around 3000 arrests of outlaws, Bass killed around 14 outlaws without ever getting any serious injuries, hence, he was called The Lone Ranger.
The Bass Reeves story was originally written by David Oyelowo and his wife Jessica Oyelowo, then the story was considered under the Yellowstone franchise and the story will star David Oyelowo himself. I guess that is enough information, well that’s not enough, Yellowstone also announced the spin-off series 6666, which will be mainly focusing on present-day incidents of the famous ranch in a ranch in Texas called Four Sixes.
