High School DXD is a Japanese-based light novel series written by Icihei Ishibumi. It has the genre of comedy, harem, and supernatural elements in it. The 25 volumes are available in Japan and published under Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. In July 2010 they serialized High school manga issue of Dragon Magazine and later in the March 2011 issue of Monthly Dragon Age with eleven volumes released. Later an anime adaptation was approved and the first season aired from January 6, 2012, and March 23, 2012. Till now we have a total of 4 seasons screened. The series was aired on various platforms in different countries and received considerable love and admiration. Now, the fans are expecting Season 5 of the Japanese series.

Voice Cast:
The voice cast of High School DXD season 5 is said to be the same as in the previous seasons. The following voiceover artists have played various roles in the series and can also be expected to repeat their roles in the upcoming fifth season.
- Yuki Kaji will give a voice to Issei Hyoudou, who is the main character of the series.
- Yoko Hikasa will act as Rias Gremory.
- Shizuka Ito will give a voice to Akeno Himejima.
- Azumi Asakura will act as Asia Argento.
- Jamie Marchi may reprise her role as Rias Gremory.
- Ayana Taketatsu will give a voice to Koneko Toujou’s character.
- Sean O’ Connor will act as Kiba.
- Jad Saxton may reprise his role as Koneko.
High School DXD Season 5 Storyline
The story is about a Kuoh Academy high school student named Issei, who Yuma Amano slew on their first date and Issei turned to be an angel. But Issei wanted to be a harem king. A third-year student Rias Gremory then wakes him with her powers and he wakes up as a devil, although Issei thinks it to be a dream and gets up the next morning. Unfortunately, another fallen angel tries to assault him as he gets up, and Rias introduces herself as a demon who saved him. Issei finally confesses his love to Rias, fans can expect to see their relationship blossom in the new season.
Season 5 of the series will probably be inspired by Volumes 11 &12 of the Japanese Light novel. Unfortunately, we have to wait till the release of the series to know the various challenges Issei will be facing in the upcoming episodes. In High School DxD Season 5, there are tons of troubles coming down the way of Issei. He has to cross the Middle-Class Promotion Test. Moreover, Issei has to go through a battle in the next season to understand the relationship between him and Rias. Also, at the end of High School DxD Season 4, we saw that Koneko was feeling weird about the growing closeness of Issei and Rias, so now Issei has to be more careful around her too
