Shazam!, starring Zachary Levi, turned out to be one of the DC Extended Universe movies that received the most praise upon its first release. This is something that many people did not anticipate happening. The hero was a total unknown, but due to the success of the endeavor, he was thrust into the limelight all over the world. Now that we’ve reached this point, it’s time to start getting ready for the next sequel, Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
The San Diego Comic-Con is already in full swing, and the main presentation by Warner Bros. that will take place in Hall H is getting ever closer. In addition to the many other projects that the studio plans to showcase, Billy Batson’s child hero and Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam will be featured prominently in the presentation.
The viewers should, at the absolute least, be receiving the first trailer that does justice to the movie. This seems to be even more plausible today, due to some new video from Fury of the Gods that has found its way online in anticipation of the huge SDCC panel that it will be participating in.
At 10:15 p.m. local time on Saturday, July 23, attendees of Comic-Con in San Diego will get their first look at the Warner Bros. slate of DC Comics adaptations, and in advance of that presentation, the studio has released some new footage from the upcoming Shazam! film. The internet has been inundated with Fury of the Gods.
A professionally promoted tweet sent by a member of Twitter had four seconds of a mouthwatering new video that users of the social media platform could enjoy. There are barely a few fresh glances of the project in the newly released film. In the very first image, we see the whole family going through the process of becoming their superheroes. After that, there is a glimpse of Zachary Levi’s character, the title hero, soaring into action while wearing his freshly updated suit. Hespera, played by Helen Mirren, may be seen getting ready to assault someone while Kalypso, played by Lucy Liu, stands next to her.
In addition to this new footage, official confirmation came in stating that there would be a new trailer landing today, which is July 23. There was a time when viewers were going to have to wait up until the next summer before they could find out what Billy Batson and his family were up to next. We are fortunate that things turned out differently; now we will just have to wait until December.
In the extended preview for the upcoming movie starring Zachary Levi, further glimpses of the shadowy antagonists, including a new look at Rachel Zegler in her unspecified role, were shown. The promotional video also included several brand-new action shots that focused on the Shazam family, in addition to a mention of the Justice League from the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). On the other hand, the version of Superman portrayed by Henry Cavill was omitted from the list of heroes.
