Actor Yashika Aannand was injured and her friend Vallichatti Bhavani (28) died, after the car they were traveling in met with an accident on East Coast Road. Police said that it occurred early on Sunday morning while the two had been returning from a visit to Mamallapuram
The tragic death of Vallichatti Bhavani has left her friends and family heartbroken. Officials said that the car they were traveling in met with a serious accident on East Coast Road early Sunday morning when she was 28-years-old, but luckily Yashika Aannand survived albeit injured.
The police report that a Hyderabad-born woman, Vallichatti Bhavani works as an engineer in the United States. Along with her two friends Yashika and Aannand they were driving back from Mamallapuram to Chennai when their car crashed into another vehicle that had TN 01 BK 8632 written on it.
A tragic accident took place on East Coast Road last night around 11.45 p.m. when the driver of a vehicle lost control and hit the median, causing it to turn turtle-style in front of passersby who quickly came to help rescue that inside from what would have been an otherwise deadly crash (Soolerikadu). Sadly, Vallichatti Bhavani perished during this horrible event but was able to be saved by other citizens before time ran out for her life support system – all thanks to their quick thinking!
The other survivors of the fishing boat accident have been taken to a private hospital in Chennai for treatment. Mamallapuram police are investigating and registered a case with them.
